50 years Kyocera in Europe

Kyocera, founded 1959 in Kyoto, was already a successful manufacturer of fineceramic components when in 1971 the company took a great leap forward to establish its first European subsidiary in Germany. Today, KYOCERA Europe GmbH (KEG) operates a total of 26 affiliates - five of them in Germany - with about 1,500 staff members in Europe. It will continue to grow and develop as a company that focuses on regions in Europe where production and sales are conducted in order to be able to respond better to customer wishes in the future.
